Sollicitations VO Février 2017 – DC Universe Partie 1

Alors que l’éditeur DC Comics vient de révéler ses sollicitations, l’heure est venue de les décortiquer en continuant avec la première partie consacrée au DC Universe, soit tous les titres sous l’empreinte Rebirth. Quelque choses sont à noter en plus des nouvelles séries Justice League of AmericaBatwoman et Super Sons qui avaient déjà été annoncées.

Comme il l’avait également été annoncé, l’artiste Bilquis Evely (Sugar & Spike) viendra remplacer Nicola Scott sur Wonder Woman. On peut confirmer à présent que le titre Cyborg est passé à une publication mensuelle, alors que Tula Lotay sera la nouvelle artiste invitée pour All-Star Batman. On peut constater que Billy Tan est encore à l’oeuvre sur New Super-Man ce qui laisse supposer que Viktor Bogdanovic nous prépare un nouveau projet chez DC (ou bien qu’il est parti ?), alors que Bryan Hitch s’occupera à nouveau des dessins sur un numéro de Justice League ; on espère que ce sera plus réussi que la dernière fois qu’il l’a fait. Enfin, et c’est sûrement la meilleure nouvelle, Jim Lee semble avoir abandonné la charge de faire les dessins sur Suicide Squad. Remplacé par le très bon Riley Rossmo, ce changement devrait permettre à Rob Williams de profiter pleinement de l’espace alloué par un single pour raconter ses histoires.

Plein de débuts d’arc qui font envie !
On reste dans l’influence de Multiversity avec JLA après avoir fait un tour du côté de chez Superman. Action et Detective développent des intrigues laissées en suspens. Rucka tease un gros arc qui a l’air de se développer sur les deux parties de son run : intéressant de voir comment il va gérer ça. Priest joue la carte de la continuité sur Deathstroke en faisant fructifier le travail de Seeley sur Nightwing. Et Suicide Squad permet peut-être enfin un retour à une pagination classique avec le retrait de Jim Lee au profit de l’excellent Riley Rossmo (?). Ca promet !

Quelqu’un a déjà lu les épisodes de « Superman » avec son fils Jonathan, ça m’a l’air ultra gamin et le désign de Jon est ultra manganisé, non ?

C’est l’un des meilleurs titres Rebirth et c’est pas du tout gamin, c’est même intelligent avec une relation père/fils très bien gérée. Après Gleason on aime ou on aime pas (moi j’adore).

Le truc principal que j retiens de ces sollicitations, outre le fait que dc ait l air de faire des trucs toujours aussi cool, c est Superman Reborn. Ce serait pas ça le gros event de l été par Snyder et Capullo ? Avec un retour du Superman New 52 ?
